A first-of-its-kind, Real-Time Call Coaching Software. We looked to solve 3 very specific problems as it is related to typical sales motions. 1) Reps & Agents not asking the right questions or forgetting key talking points 2) Incorrect handling of objections 3) Waiting minutes or hours for calls to be analyzed for review and coaching.
Why should you be interested?
Not going to lie, this is going to be a challenge but the “figure out if this is possible” has already been done. Now, we get to have fun. It is time to take the “scrappy” product that got us here, and mature it into a product that our customers can’t live without. You will work directly with the CEO to define the future of our product, and 5 years from now you will have VPs, Directors and Engineers all working towards your shared vision of what Abstrakt has and will become.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for our first VP/Director of Engineering who can lead development, architect solutions, support customers and lay the foundation for future growth of our engineering team.
The VP/Director of Engineering will be Abstrakt’s first in-house technical leader.
This person has experience as a hands-on software engineer (and knows what quality/clean code looks like), can do system architecture as well as DevOps.
Ability to grow and lead a development team is a must have. This is a “roll your sleeves up” type of role: you will be writing and maintaining code early, working with an existing team, then will hire your own team as you transition development from being outsourced to in-house.
The VP/Director of Engineering will work directly with the CEO and other leaders to capitalize on the tremendous success and sophistication of our product as they envision, plan, build and maintain Abstrakt as an Enterprise level software product into the future.
As the first Real-Time Call Coaching software in the B2B space, Abstrakt is redefining Conversational Intelligence. We need someone who can scale complex NLP and AI solutions. The stack is built on GCP, the database is in Mongo, and a sophisticated combination of Angular, Python, Node and C++ make up the working parts of our solution.
This is a performance-driven, remote position. You have to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision.
What You Should Have
Ability to lead a fully remote team in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with Abstrakt leadership, current customers, and prospects
Full Stack Developer

Experience with QA testing and managing offshore/nearshore teams
GitHub and Jira/Confluence
Nice To Haves
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization strategies
