What You’ll Be Doing
Your job will be to help maintain and upgrade our Electron app to improve crash resistance, security, and extend support for new hardware and devices.
You will also be expected to work closely with team members to troubleshoot reported issues and bugs.
This is a performance-driven, remote position. You have to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision.
What You Should Have
2+ years of experience with Electron, Tauri or similar app development
2+ years of experience integrating system/microphone audio recording into Electron applications for Mac and Windows. We currently use Sox to spawn CoreAudio and Wasapi subscripts written in C. We are open to hearing about other methods used.
Experience with Javascript and low level languages such as C.
Experience with database management, such as MongoDB.
Experience integrating security protocols such as role based JWT authentication/authorization.
Nice To Haves
Experience with Chromebook or other Linux based app development.
Experience with at least one front end framework such as REACT or Angular.
